Visit from Engineer Ben

We organised a visit from an engineer for "Engineers Week" through www.steps.ie. Ben Austen, who works in Seagate in Derry, kindly visited us on Tuesday 18th of February. He spoke to the pupils about the various types of engineers and the work they do. He gave a short presentation and initiated many discussions among the students.

Pupils were captivated from the outset and had many questions for him. He admired the huge effort that each child had put into their Bridge Project and offered to return to visit again next year. Thanks Ben - we would love that!
